Ángel received his B. S. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Puerto Rico in Ponce. He is currently pursuing an MD-JD dual degree at the University of Puerto Rico and seeks to continue a career in Forensic Psychiatry and Criminal Law. He has collaborated as Study Coordinator with the Medical Sciences Campus of the University of Puerto Rico and Yale University for two clinical studies in HIV. Most recently, he completed a Research Fellowship in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School.
